I was using these pants for skiing and they served they purpose 100%. With weather fluctuating between sunny, 37 degrees without wind and blizzard with 10-14 degrees, I never felt too hot or too cold. Never felt any moister from outside, although I fell many times. The pants repel the snow and wind very well. It also has several pockets which are easy to use and at a same time they are securely closed so you don't have to worry about losing your items. Pants are not too bulky and don't make much noise when walking. I am not a professional in winter sports, but I can hardly imagine what can be improved for these pants they are already good in all perspective.

I needed these pants for winter hiking below freezing temperatures and in wind. I am female, 5' 6", 135 lbs with athletic build. I ordered a large because I wanted good length and slightly baggy. The waist is large on me, but it has ties, so works well. The large is roomy enough but not huge. I hiked with these in 15 degrees windy winter conditions. This was a HUGE improvement over my other supposedly windproof winter pants which left my legs numb and practically frostbitten. These pants kept the wind out and kept me toasty warm. I ordered a second pair in a different color and wear them on every winter hike. I am absolutely in love with them. In the cool spring winds, they will be great on their own.

I am loving these pants! We went to Tahoe for a week and I needed something for the snow. We aren’t cold-weather people, so I didn’t really know what to look for or what exactly I needed. But surprisingly, these turned out perfect and actually LOOKED pretty decent because I didn’t want puffy, bulky snow pants. I originally wanted something that was closer to a fleece lined, waterproof, warm type legging. I was hoping these would tuck into my boots. But they looked good enough that I still liked them. They were warmer than expected! I’m a huge baby when it comes to cold weather and I was pretty warm. I mean, it said‘feels like 11 degrees’ on my weather app and we were just standing there in a ton of snow watching the kids ice skate, so I was gonna whine no matter what. But I didn’t whine about the pants!! I did wear a pair of thin fleece lined lights underneath, but I stayed warm and they stayed waterproof. I’d say yes to these pants over any other.
