A pair of loving NASA engineer-couple experienced the worst honeymoon, in turn used their NASA knowledge to create the best winter pants in recent history.
Loving engineer-couple against the snow and winter pants that failed
Sam and Eliza Connor are both NASA engineers and a pair of newlyweds from Southern California. They have never experienced snow fall or freezing cold temperatures in their lives, so they decided to break that record for their honeymoon trip. They wanted to enjoy a romantic holiday playing in the snow and learning to ski at Swiss Alps, but reality hit and quickly burst their dream bubble.
“We didn’t enjoy Swiss Alps as much as we wanted to, it was really disappointing. We were freezing cold, our legs got so numb just by stepping out in the snow. It was our first time skiing, naturally we fell down a lot. With each fall, our legs got wetter and colder from the snow. Besides, we also sweat a lot during our hike and skiing adventures, making us much colder from the inside. And obviously, the strong winds did not make our situation any better. It was really difficult to enjoy, let alone be romantic with a partner when you can’t even walk or talk without shivering.” – Sam Connor
“I was really ticked off because we spent so much on “quality” winter pants. We bought winter pants, cold-proof pants, fleece-lined leggings and insulated softshell pants, we even layered them in hopes to keep us warm during our days skiing, but NONE of them worked! All these companies say they can handle the coldest of temperatures and the strongest of winds. But clearly, they didn’t do as they should, and it ruined our honeymoon entirely.” – Eliza Connor
Taking matters into their hands, with their NASA knowledge
Feeling annoyed and unable to let go of the ruined honeymoon, the NASA engineer-couple decided to take matters into their own hands. After returning from their honeymoon, they worked tirelessly on their own winter pants. The Connors took all the knowledge and references from the NASA’s space suits to engineer the perfect and affordable “suit” for earth-walkers like us.

The birth of the Ultimate Winter Pants
The Connors adopted the aerospace technology that was used to create spacesuits to create something that can protect people from the subzero temperatures the wicked winter may bring.
